 Hello, and welcome to Dog in the Country Grooming & Spa!

Let me introduce myself, I am Chessie - founder of Dog in the Country. I have loved animals since life began, commonly wandering off and being found cuddling some furry creature somewhere. I have really had quite the adventure in the animal industry, not only finding my passion for dogs whilst managing boarding kennels, but also caring for horses, farm animals, small mammals & reptiles, with one of my most fulfilling roles volunteering as a Wildlife Rescuer for East Sussex WRAS. 

In terms of education, I have obtained a FdSc degree in Animal Behaviour & Welfare, Level 3 in Animal Management, but most importantly my City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Dog Grooming, completed in 2020.  I am also fully insured.

Since then, my passion for dog grooming has grown exponentially, and I'm excited to begin this new adventure.
