Cancellation Policy

At Dog in the Country Grooming & Spa it is understood that life can be unpredictable and plans can change. To ensure all of our furry clients are accommodated effectively, the following cancellation policy has been established. This policy helps to maintain a smooth schedule and provide the best care for your pets.

• Notice Period:
  
  • Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee.

• Cancellation Fee:
  
  • A fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost will be charged for cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time.
  • No-shows (failure to attend without any prior notice) will be charged 100% of the scheduled service cost. This must be settled before we can allow your dog to return.

• How to Cancel or Reschedule:

  • Please include your name, your pet’s name, and the appointment date and time when notifying us.
  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests are only considered confirmed once you receive acknowledgment.

• Late Arrivals:
  
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule to ensure we can provide the full quality of service to your pet and others. In such cases, the cancellation fee may apply.

• Exceptions:
  
  • We understand that emergencies happen. Exceptions to the cancellation fee may be made at our discretion for situations such as sudden pet illness or family emergencies. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation.

We reserve specific time slots to provide personalized care for each pet. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows prevent us from offering those slots to other clients. This policy ensures fairness for all our customers and helps us maintain a high standard of service.
